Fool’s Gold: A Day Off in NYC
Last month, record company Fool’s Gold hosted its annual Day Off block party. Taking over a substantial amount of real estate, the high energy affair included a star studded cast of Fool’s Gold artists who all put on a memorable show to say the least. This included Juicy J, Danny Brown, the Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak and Dave1), Just Blaze, Cubic Zirconia, Party Supplies, Nick Catchdubs, ASAP Rocky and DJ Mehdi. The event also marked one of the last live performances of French musician, DJ Mehdi who unfortunately passed away last month.

Surface to Air: New York City
HBTV had a chance to recently sit down with the creative minds behind the French rising star, Surface to Air. Founders Aldric Speer and Jeremie Rozan so humbly brought us through the inception of their brand, their vision, the recent Kid Cudi collaboration and the opening of their latest store in New York. The video also includes footage from the store opening to the soulful sounds of Mr. Rager.

Ron English: The Popaganda Dunny
Last month, Ron English made an appearance at the Kidrobot flagship in New York City. Taking the time to meet with fans and do a live painting session on a massive Dunny, we took a few minutes to speak with the artist. English praises the development of the designer toy world thanks to Kidrobot, talks about working with paintings vs. toys, and his subverted advertising interests.
